Request to be able to change or edit the content type of an existing piece of content after the fact. Specifically, this currently affects the "Content Idea" content type—it cannot be changed directly if the content is actually intended for other channels. Current workaround: You can duplicate the content; when duplicating it, you can select a different content type to apply it to the desired channels. Request: Enable the ability to edit or change the content type directly on the existing content without having to duplicate it first.

Plus icon for quickly adding topics to topic areas
In strategic topic planning, it should be possible to add a new topic directly to an existing topic area using the plus icon—similar to the story feature. Currently, this can only be done by selecting “Create New” (choosing two levels) and then assigning it via “Briefing” → “Edit,” which is considered less efficient.

However, it should also be possible to enter events lasting multiple days—for example, trade shows like didacta (February 23–27, 2027), for which we will also be creating content. When you duplicate content, there are four checkboxes that allow you to copy content into the new item. These are currently not selected by default. Since this action is usually appropriate, the checkboxes should be selected by default, and users can deselect them if they wish. This saves a few clicks.

Tasks always occur one after another—but that doesn’t reflect reality. Tasks can also be assigned to different people at the same time. Contentbird could handle this with subtasks. A task would then consist of x subtasks that can be completed in any order. In addition, you could define when the main task can be marked as complete (e.g., if 4 out of 5 tasks are complete, the main task is also complete).
